DAY 1 ARRIVAL

Following your arrival at Tel Aviv airport we will arrange to meet you at the Jerusalem Hotel located at 15 Antara Ben Shadad Street. It is opposite the bus station, close to Jerusalem's Damascus Gate and very near to the Garden Tomb. This is a convenient location for all those taking part in the tour. From there we'll take a mini-bus to the Saviour guesthouse in Bethlehem for a brief orientation, meet the guides and have lunch. Our drivers will then take us to Jenin and the Haddad Hotel. In the evening, before supper, we will pay a visit to the Freedom Theatre in the refugee camp.

DAY 2 jenin to nablus

In the morning we set off from the Haddad Resort Hotel in Jenin and cycle towards Sabastiya; an ancient Canaanite, Hellenistic and Roman city. We pass the village of Zebabdeh and then head towards the village of Missilieh. We continue to Sanour and its beautiful fertile plain. Then onward towards the villages of Yassid and Beit Imrin on hilly roads. After the climb (which is difficult in places; but keep in mind the support vehicle is always at our assistance) we arrive at the hilltop village of Sabastia. Sabastia is believed to be the place where John the Baptist was beheaded. We lunch in Sabastia then tour the ancient city and meet the local community. After lunch we cycle to Nablus which is a short distance away (and downhill), tour the old city and enjoy a Turkish bath. Dinner and overnight in the Al Yasmin hotel in the old city.

“I’ve done it three times, and each time it was absolutely excellent - enjoyed it to the max!” Chris Hughes, Manchester

DAY 3 nablus to taybeh

We start in the old city of Nablus and head South passing the villages of Huwarah and Beita; and continue towards the village of Aqraba which overlooks the Jordan Valley. Then continue towards Majdal Bani Fadil and rest in the village of Duma. Next we cycle towards Mughayyar and Khirbet Abu Fallah. Then we face the highest hill in the Ramallah area (the strongest will take the hill on- many will hop on-board the support vehicle). Finally we head towards the villages of Kofur Malik and Dier Jarir; arriving in Taybeh in the late afternoon.

We'll visit the world famous Taybeh brewery and enjoy dinner with local families. We'll stay overnight in the fabulius Golden Hotel owned by the Taybeh Brewery.

Cycle to Jericho. This is an indescribably fabulous bike trip through wonderful desert hills and valleys. The easiest day in the entire tour; mostly down hill. After checking in at the Jericho Resort Hotel we visit Hisham's Palace and take a cable car to the monastery on the Mount of Temptation; where we'll have lunch. The mini-bus will take us to the baptismal site of Christ on the River Jordan and then to a Dead Sea bathing resort.

After visiting the Mar Saba Monastery we'll take the minibus to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity. An easy ride from delightful Bethlehem to the Holy city of Jerusalem. We will visit the Holy Sepulchre and enjoy an alternative political and cultural tour in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem just outside the old city walls. There will be an optional meal (and/or drinks) at my favourite Hotel in East Jerusalem for those wishing to indulge. But please note, this will be at your own expense. (Although I highly recommend this option.)
